Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa celebrates 20 years whilst raising £1060 for Nicola’s Fund!

Last month the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa celebrated their 20th anniversary as part of Nelson Hotels – a family owned collection of individual, award-winning hotel and gastro inn properties all located within Cheshire including; The Fishpool Inn, The Pheasant Inn and The Bear’s Paw.

The Grosvenor Pulford has seen dramatic investment and improvements over the past 20 years, with the entire property being extensively refurbished, transforming it from a tired rundown building to its now luxurious 4 star standard. Renovations have included the addition of 33 new bedrooms, a Mediterranean style restaurant and beautifully landscaped grounds, including a lake with a wooden bridge crossing and adjacent gazebo. Within this time, full leisure facilities have also been introduced to the property, as well as the exclusive Spa by Kasia and more recently its unique Asian sensory gardens with waterfalls and pathways.

To mark the occasion, an evening was hosted on the 20th June of fine food and entertainment, along with a luxury raffle in aid of the company’s nominated charity Nicola’s Fund* with the 20 prizes reaching a grand total value of £2200! The event was sponsored by long standing suppliers, Rodney Densem Wines, Oliver Kay Produce, M&J Seafood and Williams of Flint Butchers. Local Cheshire businesses were also happy to get involved with the celebrations, kindly donating an array of fabulous raffle prizes, including Cheshire Farm Ice-Cream, Cheshire Luxury Cars and The Editeur to name a few, as well as luxury beauty brands Elemis and Clarins.

General Manager, Maurice Cannizzo has been a vital member of the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel team for over ten years and has watched many of the developments first hand; “The 20th anniversary evening was a great success and enjoyed by all who attended. It was the perfect event to mark such a special occasion and to raise £1060 for Nicola’s Fund in the process is just fantastic”

Operations Director, Andrew Nelson adds; “We are extremely proud of all that we have achieved over the years, we would like to thank our loyal customers, quality suppliers and of course our fantastic, dedicated team who have helped make the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa the success that it is today”.

A major development encompassing the main entrance and reception area of the hotel is planned for early 2015.
