Those that use the posthouse roundabout on their daily commute are no doubt breathing a sigh of relief over the long overdue end of these roadworks. Here at The Grosvenor Pulford we are extremely happy that our guests using the A483/A55 will now be able to travel to and from us without hassle or complication.
Ongoing since October 2014, the £6 million restructure has implemented two new sets of traffic lights, a fourth lane to ease congestion on the A55 and the introduction of a new footbridge to aid pedestrians and cyclists wanting to cross the busy road.
The roadworks have been the cause of long delays and have caused difficulty for those using this road on their morning commute, and for any one travelling to and from Chester, Wrexham and the surrounding areas. However, now complete the work carried out has resulted in a much smoother flow of traffic with no delays or problems caused so far.
We are pleased to now inform our guests using the A483/A55 to get to us will not be held up any longer and will not face having to take an alternate route due to overnight road closures.
