Christmas festivities will be in full swing at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa on Wednesday 18th November. The hotel’s Spa By Kasia is hosting its annual Charity Christmas Fayre from 5pm to 8pm in aid of local charity, Nicola’s Fund. This will be the sixth Christmas Fayre dedicated to raising much needed funds for the charity, which is committed to improving the quality of life for children with cancer.
A fabulous Christmas shopping extravaganza will be held in the hotel’s elegant Grosvenor Suite. Visitors will have the chance to buy unique gifts for loved ones, such as silver and crystal jewellery, hand-made crafts and luxury skincare sets. After stocking up on presents, shoppers can treat themselves to a pampering ten-minute mini spa treatment, the cost of which will be donated directly to the charity.
Father Christmas and his reindeer will be in attendance to delight young children and Ironman, Spiderman and the Minions will also be making a special visit. Plus, while parents shop, face painting and crafts will keep the little ones happy and entertained. The Barker’s Lane Primary School choir will be singing Christmas carols during this festive event.
Tickets for the Christmas Charity Fayre cost £5 per adult and £2.50 per child, payable on arrival, with all proceeds going to Nicola’s Fund. A charity raffle will give everyone the chance to win a host of exciting prizes.
Nicola’s Fund was established in 2006. The charity provides support and holidays for families coping with childhood cancer. Commenting on the event, Spa Director, Amy Nelson said: “Each year our Christmas Fayre gets better and better. Last year we raised over £2,000 for the charity so we are really looking forward to supporting Nicola’s Fund again this year. The organisation and Nicola’s family are very close to our hearts so we are delighted that this annual event is helping to make a difference to the lives of children with cancer.”
