LOCATION

Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa is located in the village of Pulford to the south west of Chester and on the border with Wales. The city centre of Chester is located 5.6 miles from the property.

The nearest local amenities include:

GETTING HERE

DIRECTIONS

The property is accessible via Wrexham Road (B5445) with two road entrances. Extensive free parking is offered at the hotel, including 3 designated disabled parking spaces. Parking spaces are marked with white marking lines and the surface of the car park is flat with a paved gravel surface. The car park is lit at night and there is CCTV in operation.

The hotel has an Electric Vehicle charging point, located at the back of the property near Spa by Kasia.

ARRIVAL

MAIN ENTRANCE & RECEPTION

Entrance to the hotel reception is at the front of the building via an automatic revolving door, with paving stones which gently slope up towards the entry door. There is flat ramp access to the hotel reception through an automatic door with a wireless push pad, positioned to the right of the revolving automatic door entrance.

There is limited seating available in the reception area, however if necessary, our team can carry out your check-in from this seating area or from the adjacent lounge area in Palm Court restaurant.

Entrance to Spa by Kasia is accessed via ramp towards the back of the property. The spa is sign-posted and there is an automatic door followed by stairs (3 steps) with handrail to access the spa reception area. Accessible (stepless) entry to the spa reception is available via corridor from the main hotel reception.

Entrance to the Grosvenor Suite is available via stairs (7 steps) with handrail or via ramp access to the right of the stairs. The suite is accessible by automatic door.

HOTEL AREAS

The hotel common areas, including the main reception, Palm Court restaurant, Nelson’s bar and Spa by Kasia, are all on the ground floor of the hotel. Our hotel corridors are well-lit and carpeted, whilst the Palm Court restaurant and Nelson’s bar have wood flooring and are well-lit throughout.   

BEDROOMS

The hotel has a total of 75 en-suite bedrooms: 19 rooms are on the hotel’s ground floor, 48 rooms are on the hotel’s first floor, and 8 rooms are located on the hotel’s second floor.

Rooms 20-43, 50-64 and 76-80 are accessible via both hotel lifts with walking via corridor required (one lift route has 5 stairs leading up from the lift location). All hotel corridors are wide enough to accommodate standard wheelchairs. Rooms 65-67 and 72-75 have 4 steps down to access them.

Rooms 23, 31 and 32 are all located on the hotel second floor which is accessible via stairs only. Select rooms (35, 37, 39, 41 and 42) offer accommodation over two floors, with a spiral staircase access to the bedroom.

Our guest information directory is available in all rooms digitally by scanning the QR code notice displayed in the room using your mobile phone. A physical copy can be provided upon request.

All bedrooms have in-room telephones with internal and external numbers provided.

Our rooms are varied in their configuration of baths and showers. Walk-in showers are available in rooms 1, 9, 19, 65-67 and 72-80.

LIFT ACCESS

The hotel has two lifts in operation: the first is located within a corridor adjacent to Nelson’s bar and the second is located near Spa by Kasia.

WC ACCESS

The hotel common areas are served by women’s, men’s and disabled toilets located adjacent to the main hotel reception (to the right of the reception’s main staircase), with step-less, ground floor entry. Baby changing facilities are available within the disabled WC. The Grosvenor Suite has its own women’s, men’s and disabled toilet facilities, with baby changing facilities located within the disabled WC.

RESTAURANTS

Both Palm Court restaurant and Nelson’s are accessible by ground floor entry with both moveable and banquette seating options throughout. Most chairs are without arms.

Palm Court and Nelson’s both offer full waiter service for diners and drinkers, with both locations also offering their own lounge areas. Palm Court has four sets of two sofas facing one another, each with a low-level coffee table in between. Nelson’s has a mixed array of high-back armchair seating, sofas and bar stools. Both locations play background music.

Both dining locations offer all-day menus which are annotated with allergen information including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free option available. Full information on allergens present in our menu (12 major allergen groups) is available on request. All of our food is freshly prepared in a kitchen where nuts, gluten and other allergens are present. Although we cannot guarantee the total absence of allergens due to this environment, our kitchen team is well-equipped to cater for guests with allergies due to the availability of separate preparation areas and utensils.
