Palm Court Christmas Lunch & Dinner Menu

Cream of broccoli and Snowdonia truffle cheddar soup, crispy broccoli florets and truffle oil (v)

Chicken and duck liver pâté with Armagnac and thyme, spiced pickled Agen prunes, tomato chutney and toasted sourdough

Twice-baked Blacksticks blue cheese soufflé, sticky crunchy walnuts, soused red apple salad and garlic cress (v)

Lemon and tarragon poached salmon fillet, cucumber and crème fraiche salad and grilled Irish soda bread

Butter-roasted turkey, sage, onion and cranberry stuffing, pigs in blankets, seasonal vegetables, creamed sprouts and pancetta, thyme roasted potatoes

12 hour braised and rolled sticky beef feather blade Bourguignon, charred carrots, horseradish creamed potatoes and crisp pancetta tuille

Oven baked fillet of cod, lightly-spiced roasted butternut squash, mixed bean, mussel and chickpea cassoulet

Roasted root vegetable and chestnut wellington, baked Portobello mushroom purée, thyme spinach and truffle sauce (v)

Traditional Christmas pudding, brandy sauce and butter, slow roasted redcurrants and sugared walnuts

White chocolate and Bailey’s creme brûlée with chocolate dipped brandy snap biscuits

The Palm Court Christmas fayre menu is served from 26 November 2021 to 30 December 2021, excluding Sundays, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The regular Palm Court menu will also be available throughout this period, as well as our traditional roast carvery every Sunday. Please note that for parties of 4 or more, a deposit of £10.00 per person is required within 14 days of booking and a pre-order form must be completed.

Nelson's Bar Christmas Fayre Menu

Slow-roasted San Marzano plum tomato soup, aged balsamic and goat’s cheese toast (v) (vgoa)

Chicken and duck liver pâté with Armagnac and thyme, spiced pickled Agen prunes, tomato chutney and toasted ciabatta

Sautéed button mushrooms in garlic and parsley butter with parmesan and Blacksticks blue cheese crumb and truffle-dressed rocket (vgoa)

Traditional prawn and crayfish cocktail, baby gem hearts, cherry tomatoes, pickled cucumber and Marie Rose sauce

Butter-roasted turkey, sage, onion and cranberry stuffing, pigs in blankets, seasonal vegetables, creamed sprouts with pancetta and thyme roasted potatoes

Baked lemon and thyme salmon fillet, crushed basil new potato cake, braised leeks, torched vine baby tomatoes, lemon and chive butter sauce
