The Cheshire hotel and spa, part of family-owned collection of hotels and inns Nelson Hotels, has reached the final in the category of Venue in Cheshire, following an impressive number of nominations from happy couples past and present. The awards, presented by County Brides, aim to recognise and reward those within the wedding sector in the north west of England which contributes to the country’s £14.7 billion industry.
Speaking of the nomination, sales and marketing director Lucy Nelson said: “We are ecstatic to have reached the final in the North West Wedding Awards, which is a fantastic reflection of our venue’s quality and our team’s dedication after a most trying year for the industry. We have some exciting plans to reveal soon to elevate our venue even further, so making the final is the perfect beginning to this next chapter for us.”
Not only is the hotel recognised as one of Cheshire’s finest wedding venues, but its team also receives a nod as Wedding Coordinator Emma Simon reaches the finals in the category awarding excellence amongst those who specialise in making big day dreams a reality.
On reaching the finals in this category, Emma said: “Whilst it is incredible for our venue to reach the finals, I feel a special pride to have managed an individual nomination as well. Having worked in the team for over four years and overseen countless celebrations, it is such an honour to be recognised for my contribution to creating memories of a lifetime. I am so grateful to each and every one of my couples for their nominations and support!”
The winners will be revealed at a glittering black-tie ceremony held at The Mere Resort & Spa on Thursday 21st October.
