The hotel is protected by the most up-to-date fire prevention devices and alarm systems. Please make yourself aware of the emergency procedures listed here to further enhance your safety and security.

Your best defense against a fire is to plan ahead:

  • Locate two exits nearest your room. Be sure they are unlocked and unblocked. Then count the doors between your room and exits so you’ll have a reference point if it is smoky or dark.
  • When you hear an alarm, ACT, don’t simply investigate.
  • If the fire is in your room, get out and close the door. Alert your neighbors. Once out, report the fire.
  • If the fire is not in your room, leave if you can. First, feel the door. If it is cool, open it slowly and go to the nearest exit. Crawl if there is smoke. Fresher air will be at the floor. Take your keys so you can go back to your room if you can’t use the exits.
  • NEVER USE THE LIFT DURING A FIRE.
  • If your door is hot, don’t open it. Your room may be the safest place to be. Seal all cracks with wet towels. Shut off fans and air conditioners. Signal from your window. Call the fire department and wait to be rescued.

Baby travel cots are available as a complimentary special request item through the front desk.
The number of available cots is limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Please let our team know as soon as possible if you require this item and we will endeavour to accommodate you.

Breakfast is served in Palm Court between 7:00am and 10:00am (Monday-Friday). On Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast is served between 7:30am and 10:00am

You are welcome to enjoy a full English breakfast in your room. To avail of our room service breakfast, please fully complete the breakfast card available in your room and leave it outside your room before 10:30pm. Please note that any room service orders will incur a £5.00 tray charge.

The historic city of Chester is easily accessible by bus transportation.
The Arriva #1 bus service runs transportation to Chester city center every half hour (subject to weekend and bank holiday hours).

We kindly ask all hotel guests to check-out of their room by 11am on the date of departure. Should you wish to stay on after this time, please contact our reception team by dialing 0 and they will make every effort to accommodate your request (subject to a late check-out fee of £20 per room). If you would like to store any items of luggage, please make your request at the reception desk and our team will be happy to help.

We are proud to be a dog-friendly hotel, where your canine companion is as welcome to stay as you are. Dogs are welcome to join you in Nelson’s, as well as in the bedrooms and hotel grounds. Please note: dogs are not permitted in Palm Court restaurant or Spa by Kasia. We politely ask our guests to keep dogs on a lead whilst in our hotel common areas, and do not leave dogs unattended in bedrooms for an extended period of time during your stay.

£15 charge will apply to your room account if your dog is staying with you, and we will be delighted to provide you with a dog bed, bowl and pack of treats.

Dog treats can also be found on the bar in Nelson’s.

Should you require any additional housekeeping services, including extra linens, towels or toiletries, please contact our reception team by dialing 0 on your in-room telephone and we will be happy to assist.

We offer a full laundry and dry cleaning service (Monday-Friday only). You will find dry cleaning forms and laundry bag in your room. Should you require this service, please fill in the form accordingly and place it in the bag provided, along with your laundry. Please ensure that reception receives this before 9.00am in order for it to be ready for you by the end of the day. Should you require the use of an iron, please dial 0 for reception and ask a member of the team who will gladly bring one to you. When you have finished with the iron, we kindly ask that you drain the water from the iron and leave it outside the room for collection.

We can accommodate left luggage for departing hotel guests.
If you would like to store any items of luggage, please make your request at the reception desk upon check-out. Please note: all luggage is left at the discretion of our hotel guests. Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa cannot be held liable for any damage or loss of property.

Hotel guests are welcome to enjoy the Health Club leisure facilities during their stay, which includes:

Child swim times
Children are welcome to use the pool between the hours of 9.00am-11.00am and 2.00pm-5.30pm daily. All children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Please be aware that there is no lifeguard on duty. All guests are requested to leave the leisure facilities by 11am on their day of departure

If you have any lost or found items to report, please contact the reception desk by dialing 0 or contact our Housekeeping on extension 419 from your in-room telephone.

Complimentary parking is available on-site for all registered hotel guests.
CCTV is in operation across the property, including the car park: however, the hotel cannot be responsible for items left in vehicles on the hotel property.

The nearest pharmacy to the hotel is located in the nearby village of Rossett, just 3 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

Our room service menu is served from Nelson’s from 12.30pm-9pm daily, with selected dishes available 24 hours.
A 12.5% tray and service charge will be applied to any room service orders.

Our hotel operates a strict no-smoking policy throughout the building. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation in observing our no-smoking policy. If we discover evidence that our policy has been flouted, additional cleaning charges to the value of £250.00 will be applied to your account. If you do wish to smoke during your stay, we do ask that you use any of our designated outdoor areas to do so, where ashtrays are provided

Spa by Kasia is our luxury health and wellbeing destination in which guests can enjoy indulgent bespoke treatments and aromatherapies.

Complimentary WiFi access is available to all guests with unlimited data download at speeds capped at 512kb.

The WiFi network is named GPH Public and requires no password to access. You can connect to the network using your email address or social media accounts.
